About This Item

The 2026 Hot Wheels 96 Porsche Carrera is a 1/64-scale die-cast release from the Hot Wheels Then and Now series, numbered 98/250 in the 2026 mainline and 4/10 within the Then and Now collection. Based on the Porsche 993-generation Carrera, this Hot Wheels casting captures the rounded headlights, flowing roofline, compact rear-engine proportions, and unmistakable profile associated with the final air-cooled generation of the Porsche 911.

This 2026 variation is finished in Metalflake Root Beer with a Porsche crest on the front and a yellow Carrera stripe running along the lower sides. Additional details include smoke-tinted windows, a brown interior, black plastic base, and silver 5-spoke wheels. The deep metallic brown finish gives the casting a distinctive appearance while keeping the decoration closely focused on the Carrera identity.

The 96 Porsche Carrera casting first entered the Hot Wheels lineup in 2019 and has since appeared in several Porsche-focused and mainline collections. This version places the classic 993-generation Carrera within the 2026 Then and Now theme, which pairs vehicles from different eras of automotive design.

Why Collect This Model

The 96 Porsche Carrera represents the 993 generation of the Porsche 911, a particularly recognizable chapter in Porsches air-cooled sports-car history. This Metalflake Root Beer 2026 release combines that classic Porsche shape with understated Carrera graphics and a position in the Then and Now series, making it a natural addition to Porsche, European sports car, 911, and Hot Wheels mainline collections.
